Like a skipping stone,
The projects come.
The 100 word song
Is breaking the girl
With lillies and remains
And a dead man’s gun.
Like a skipping stone,
The projects come.
S30P weekly prompts
At Bastogne
She held her breath
While skipping stones.
Like a skipping stone
The projects come.
Linden trees
Line the steampunk city
While wizards wage war
For easy money.
Like a skipping stone
The projects come.
Mormons and Mitt
Separating church and state,
The 99 v 1 is as old
As being hot for teacher.
Like a skipping stone,
The projects come.
A fight for money
On the thirteenth day;
Two roads hard to travel,
One by night and one by day.
I can’t brain today;
I have the dumb.
Like a skipping stone,
The projects come.
This is my response to the S30P writing prompt of “Like a Skipping Stone.” It proves a couple of things, I think. One, that I write a number of different things (I contemplated linking to them all, but felt it would seem narcissistic) and two, that I suck at poetry.

I’ve been keeping up with your writing and dramaz. I can relate. You have mad flow in this and all of your work.
From the bottom of my robot heart, thank you for writing for 100 word song.
Lance
Eric,
This turned out really well. It has given me a few different ideas about how I could do something similar (but not identical) for my own take on the prompt. Just keep writing and be thankful that the writing projects keep flowing in!
i like I need to get into the habit of writing for s30p
Love! If it’s part of you, it’s poetry. If it has your voice, your stamp, your twist on what your skin sees, it’s poetry.
This was a clever way of putting them all together.
Like skipping stones, your poetry is playful!
